Kyle P. Beatty

Kyle P. Beatty is an associate attorney at HSGLaW, representing unions in all areas of labor relations.

Mr. Beatty got his start in the labor movement working as a Staff Representative for Ohio Council 8, AFSCME, AFL-CIO. As a Staff Representative, Kyle gained valuable experience negotiating collective bargaining agreements and leading arbitration cases. Mr. Beatty also worked as Assistant General Counsel for Ohio Council 8, where he handled matters before the Ohio State Employment Relations Board and the National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Beatty has experience working with labor unions across a wide array of sectors including higher education and the medical field.

Mr. Beatty graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.A. in Human Rights Studies. His background studying the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights led him to advocating for working people. Mr. Beatty enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Erin, their son and their rescue dog, Buddy.
